I've searched and found that you can run 275's on the back stock rims, but the sidewall will bulge alot. But what can you run on stock rims up front that won't rub real bad? 265's on all four?

Just looking for a size that looks good, not sure If I will run a slightly bigger tire in the rear or not. Thanks

Sorry if this has been beat to death.

It's not just about will they rub or not...

The GN 7" rim came with 215/65, the 235/60 is the same height (26") and has a design rim width of 7", which means that tire is a perfect fit for that rim.

Even though the larger sizes will go on the rim, they don't really "fit"

They are too tall, too wide for the rim, too buldge, rollout, etc.

Yes... a 275/60 will bearly squeeze on an 7 rim, but it's not right in my book.

275/60 is for an 8" rim, not a 7" rim.

Go with 235/60 on all 4... or 235/60 front and 245/60 rear if you want staggered. I wouldn't go any larger on the stock 15x7 wheel. I don't care how big of a tire people claim to have jammed onto their rim.

I like my car to be right, tight, and safe. That's my .02.

If you want to run tires that big on stock rims, go to Gbodyparts and buy the stretched rims. It's not safe, nor does it really look good, when you start squeezing big tires onto small rims. The GNX had 16x8 wheels and only ran 255s in back.
