Hi,

Sometimes I get smoke out of my exhaust (blue/white) when I am in stop and go traffic and when I start it up and go in the mornings. I also get a full throttle miss.

1) Low 800s w/ no knock.
2) Smoke is intermittent. It seems to happen most often in stop and go traffic or drive-through situations when the motor gets hot enough or when I start to head out in the morning. Much much more often than not it doesn't smoke.
3) The smoke is constant and embarrassing.
4) Compression is good, 140-155 psi across all cylinders.
5) Leak down is good according to the red-yellow-green leak down tester used.
6) No gas or water in oil.
7) All plugs dry and looking good.
8) Pulls like a raped ape if eased in to full throttle.
9) Misses if stomped (has only been done ~3 times to verify there is a constant, reproducible problem).

It's embarrassing. I think I've narrowed it down to an intake gasket leak or a leaking exhaust/intake valve but I am inexperienced w/ these cars. If anybody has any other suggestions please let me know.

Best,
Ben

Sounds like condensation/water in exhaust. If you start it up frequently but don't get it up to temp to you can actually have water buildup in the pipes. Drive it for a good 20 minutes on the highway and see if you still have it.

The smoke is intermittent. It will happen in stop and go traffic (sometimes a puff, sometimes mosquito killer) and sometimes under deceleration.

I think this and the cutout issues are separate.

Possible bad turbo seal. I would let it idle till it started smoking real good then shut it off. Pull the down pipe off the turbo and see if the exhaust wheel is wet.
Missing at wot could be anything from a flat cam lobe to a ignition problem. I would go through the ignition system. Plugs, wires coil, module, crank and cam sensors. If the miss gets worse and is rhythmic with rpm, check cam/valve train.
