Storing Motorcycle

I will be gone for about 4 months. My wife will be gone for about a month or two. What is the best way to store my bike?

4 months is childs play.
put full tank of fresh gas in it, put a battery tender on it and a cover over it and call it good

if its a newer bike just disconnect ground from battery, and add STA-BIL Fuel Stabilizer if your really worried about it.

but i have had bikes sit for 6 months with out doing anything to them, and they would always start right up.

hello; I don't know what MC your talking about and I have no experiance with fuel injected machines. If it is carbed I'd drain the gas out of the bowls,fill the tank with fuel, put the bat on a smart charger, cover it up and that's about it.
