Storing tires/slicks for the winter

First time I have had a car that needed slicks this badly

I don't plan on running the car at the track until next year. Does anyone do anything special for their tires/slicks prior to storing them? They are just taking up space and collecting dust in the garage. I have drag racing tire treatment, but never stored slicks in an unheated garage before.

If your garage is unheated I would store them in the basement in green garbage bags.
