On my way to NC last week my bro and I spotted a B-47 right off I-95 in Georgia about 100 miles from Jacksonville. After we returned home he saw a documentary about a lost hydrogen bomb back in 1958. It happenned right where we saw the B-47. I think it was on the science channel. I googled and found a couple stories about it.

Pretty hard to imagine that a bomb bigger and badder than the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombs is lost so close to home.

The B-47 sounds like the one at the 8th airforce museum outside of Savannah.

One of our friends flew in the 8th and was also a one of the few Americans that were RAF Mosquito pilots in WWII.

If they do eventually find this one, there only 10 more missing nuclear bombs they need to find, per the CNN article.
