Just a quick Q:

Havent had time to raise the GN and look closely underneath it lately, but I'm noticing a small oil leak on the garage floor. There's oil dripping from around the torque converter area, and some dripping onto the exhaust crossover pipe. So.... I'm afraid to look. Where could this be coming from?

More than likely, rear main seal is leaking:( This is a common problem that plagues us all.

rear main or oil pan gasket. i have also heard it could be a valve cover gasket or some other thing that has to do w/the cam at the back of the engine but ive never seen it before.

Remove the inspection cover off and see if oil traces are inside, if there is then its you rear main seal

More than likely rear seal or oil pan gasket, but my valve covers caused the same type of leak around the torque converter cover. I have to re-torque the valve covers every few months. I didn't find the leak until I had it up in the air. Leaks drive me nuts but I have learned to live with it.

Thanks guys. Soon as I get the time, I'll jack it up and get a closer look. I might as well snug up the oil pan bolts a little while I'm at it. Thanks again!
