Strange's new Dana 60 for Fbodies!

Mine just showed up last Friday. Should be pretty sweet. Here are some pictures. I will let you all know how the install goes.

Some quick info for the guys at Stenod Peformance
35 spline axles (upgradeable to 40 spline if you would like)
Choice of Tru trac, Power trac posi's or a detroit locker
Bigger ring and pinion, and axle tubes than a 12-bolt
Choice of 3 or 4 channel ABS
Many more upgrades available!

Same rear with spool retails for $2,049

That is some serious hardware. A dana 60 with it's 9.75 ring gear and 35 spline axles is going to be the LAST thing you have to worry about breaking now.

My brother's planning on ordering one for his 98 TA here in a couple weeks. Should be nice and I'm sure it'll live through plenty of 9 second passes if everything goes as planned next year.

here's the add I found on the Strange site for the G-body bolt in http://www.strangeengineering.net/catalog/index.html It says it's about 20-25 lbs heavier than a 12 bolt.

I have to go with ls1 brakes in the rear (drums won't work) and later on I will probably upgrade the fronts with a baer kit but I haven't looked to much into the fronts just yet.
