stripped holes

how can i repair the interior trim screw holes? some of mine have become stripped?
besides using wire or bigger screws?

You need an interior screw hole repair kit.

For a slightly oversize hole, go around the hole with a small punch and tap the hole back into shape. If the problem is with your door pull straps, I drill several small holes near the edge of the problem oversized hole to create a slot that allows the installation of a hardened speed nut over the existing hole. Works like a charm and will never strip out. If it does, simply replace the speed nut with a new one.
