stuck TV valve possibly?

Well I have about 2000 miles on this tranny, and am down at school and again have no pressure gauge. Hopefully after finals next week I can get it home to check the pressures. But heres the symptoms. After driving 50 miles yesterday i was going through a neigborhood going to a friends house and got a couple of 2nd gear starts and a delayed 2-3 shift. Didn't think much of it as when i first rebuilt it it would second gear start occasionally (running a 200 3 speed servo band it fine clearance wise) for the first 200-300 miles or so. Well I got back from the Rockets game and started to head the 50 miles back to Galveston. I jumped on the freeway and had no OD until about 7-8 miles down the road with varying speeds and throttle trying to get it to go. finally it went and it shifted fine the rest of the ride home. Once off the freeway it still had second gear starts. I've pulled the TV cable 20 times trying to free the valve and dropped it into low 1 and hitting the throttle trying to put pressure on the back side of the valve. Nothing has worked. but the throttle feel at the pedal is different and has a very light feel (like when you rev it with the TV unhooked) It also had a very late 3-4 again today on the first 3-4 but once it goes 1 time it is fine after that and shift s normally. I've backed off the TV cable and it seemed to make no difference further telling me it seems like a stuck TV valve. Is there any thing i can pour in temporarily to see if it will unstick until I can get it home and clean the valvebody? Thanks guys
 
Sounds like you might have some junk floating around in the trans.
Kinda like what mine did when the conv. trashed. hopefully it's not that though.

boy that would be crappy, i just had to rebuild and clean it all up after my pump stator came loose and then tore up my torque convertor stator. Then having to drill and tap just about every freakin bolt hole in the case for the valve body probably didn't help either with the debree. I cleaned it up well but who knwos what may have slipped by. I'm hoping its just a little peice of aluminum and nothin bad is happening inside. Thanks man
