Hello to all I'm new here so scold me if I am not doing this right.I bought the 86' WH1 from 97Ramsst that was in cars for sale a few weeks ago and love it. It's been 25 years since my last TR so I have forgotten a lot stuff about these cars and a lot of other stuff for that matter. I put new Delco plugs and wires on it cause it was a little rough at idle and they appeared oe original and the wires had some corrision at the coil pac. Runs a lot smoother but still stubles right off of idle and when diving after it shifts to 4th with light constant throttle you can feel the stumble. I'm changing the fuel filter this weekend and thought about maybe cleaning the throttle body and IAC motor but wanted to see if I was on the right track. This car is bone stock and I would appreciate any advice. Thanks Mike

Do you have a scantool? I would remove & clean the IAC, then reinstall and set the IAC & TPS. If the stumble is still there, try turning the cam sensor 1/4" turn counterclockwise, that got rid of my light cruise stumble and has helped others around here as well with tip-in stumble. With that said, set the IAC & TPS correctly first, that is the most common cause.

If you need help with setting the iac/tps/cam sensor, have a read here: http://www.vortexbuicks-etc.com
