Stupid Parent ? how do U save a nintendo ds game?

Ok i know there are a lot of YOUNG Guns here. My daughter had to catch the school bus but asked me to save her game. I said yes but don't know how LOL! nintendo DS

Not all games can be saved. If they can, usually while playing it press start then select save. My son has the DS, but I play it a lot too
