ok this is someting I was thinking of tonight after I got back from the track

now I know that xylene is 117 octane roughly
I dont have an alchy kit but I am assuming that the alcohol that is used with it is the alcohol you can buy at a paint store called denatured alcohol? hope Im right
of thats the case what octane is it and why doesnt anyone just pour that into there engine?

A good mix of Xylene is around 100 octane. And Denature is used to alcohol injection, you can also use Methonol but in time will damage the pump. Denature can be purchased through a local hardware store. DO a search on Xylene and find out the "correct mix with pump gas. If you want to be on the safe side pick up some 100 unleaded race gas.

3 to 1 ratio = 100 octane
9 gallons of 93 octane, 3 gallons of xylene and don't forget 2 ounces of marvel mystery oil.
