Below the Alternator lies the A/C Compressor. Directly below that there is another item with a pulley that seems to have some sort of oil leak.

Can anyone tell me what that is and maybe post up a pic of the conncetions in and out of the unit so that I may find this leak.

It's kind of tight and hard to get to and it's all covered in a oily, muddy grime so it's tough to see.

I'd like to fix it since I'm already in there...

Thanks

its the PS pump...try tightening the worm style clamp on the bigger return hose. A good time to change out fluid, if only to get to smell it.

P.s. I Want My Donuts Give Em Too Me......

Yep, just put your gloves on and get to it..fix that leak!!!!!!

YEP,ITS THE POWER STEERING PUMP...YOU HAVE ONE HOSE COMING OUT THAT GOES TO THE RESAVOR (HOSE CLAMPS ONLY)..AND ONE THAT GOES TO THE STEERING BOX THAT HAS METAL ON EACH END FOR PRESSURE..MOST LIKELY ITS THE PRESSURE ONE THAT HAS WORN A HOLE INTO IT FROM RUBBING THE FRAME..OR IT COULD JUST NEED TIGHTENED AT THE CLAMPS OR THE FITTINGS ARE LOOSE OR NEED THREAD TAPE...I DONT THINK THE PUMP WOULD LEAK...WHEN IT GOES BAD ..YOU WILL KNOW...YOU NEED TO JACK IT UP AND GET A LIGHT UNDER THE THING...GOOD LUCK,THEY ARE A PAIN TO REPLACE,IF IT GOES BAD...
