can you give me a run down of what parts(brand and type) would be in your summit engine rebuild kit for my 1987 buick gn, 3.8 turbo v6. std bore, std bearings. i want the forged piston type rebuild kit priced at $449.95?

Hi there. All of the parts found in that rebuild kit are manufactured by Federal Mogul. You will receive TRW forged pistons, Sealed Power rings, Federal Mogul bearings, a Sealed Power oil pump, Federal Mogul freeze plugs, and Fel-Pro gaskets. I hope that answers your question. this is cheaper than just buying the pistons and rings! and free shipping gotta love this

Ya it's a good deal but last time I checked you could buy the pistons for around $270 a set and the rings for about $70.

You might want to check what head gaskets the set comes with. And make sure they are the correct graphite ones.
