Hey Guys, I am looking into buying a (NEW to me) USED 1996 Riv.

It has 125k. I have read that a lot of superchargers getting replaced after 100k.

How can you tell if it has been replaced.

Any other tips on what I should be aware of with the 3800 SC motors?

m90 sc's get replaced by uninformed or greedy mechanics - they are fully rebuildable !

typically when they get noisy it is just a bad coupler $15 part and easy repair

if you do need one I have one for $120

96 unlike 97 up series 2 L67's has a 4t60 trans and is not supported by the popular aftermarket tuners but it is still a good car as long as you can own it right
