Surging at idle/while crusing

My car developed a surge at idle today as well as while crusing at steady speed. I first had a problem with my idling last week and it was raining. Today it was raining and it developed that same problem but now I have a surge to go along with it. I have reason to believe now that it has something to do with the wet weather we have been having. Does anyone have any suugestions on what I should look into? I did reset my IAC and TPS and it is still there but not as much as before. Thanks!

A couple of things come to mind.

1. Check the egr valve by plugging the line and trying to duplicate it by "cruising again."

2. It might be caused by a lean fuel condition. Try adding 3-4 pounds of fuel pressure. Of course you need an AFPR to try this.

Along that line, be sure you don't have a vacuum leak. Is the vacuum steady and where it normally is?
