SW/Boost Logic 6spd Supra runs a new best of 246.2 MPH at the Texas Mile.

On the 1st pass off the trailer they beat their previous record of 241.8 MPH in the standing mile and reset the new Texas mile record, but unfortunately on their 2nd pass a rod let loose and the car coasted to 228 MPH. They were looking to go 250 MPH and I would bet they will eventually get it there!

BTW: I've always loved those cars and have wanted one for years. Some wont agree by I think a GN and a Supra would be perfect in my garage :biggrin:

Yeah and just imagine that was only 5th gear he still had 1 more to go! Bugatti Veyron what?? This Supra accomplished in 1 mile what it takes the Veyron to do in 3 miles!

There were two other Supras at the meet and both of them were number 2 and number 3 behind SW's being the fastest in the standing mile and all 3 of them were 240+ MPH.

I think a Turbo Buick and a Supra would be good in any garage!
