I am going to be swapping from my stock TB to an aftermarket version. The 65mm does not have any linkage or accessories on it, just the TB and throttle blade (butterfly). How difficult is it to swap all my stuff from the stock TB to the new one. Will I need any special tools?

I just want to be prepared when I do this so that I have everything available that I need right there.

Thanks

Its a simple swap, if need be take a snapshot where all the linkage parts go. But I think your gonna need to open up the inlet on the doghouse to match your 65mm body. Or swap the doghouse for a hemco or PTE version to take advantage of the larger TB.

Thanks for the tip. I will definitely take a few digipics before I start. I already have port matched the plenum and sent it out to be polished (bling bling). Also have a powerplate going on too.

Thanks again

Scantool(s) for the TPS and IACV counts.

Gaskets for the plenum to throttle body, vacuum block to throttle body, and IACV housing to throttle body.

Perhaps new vacuum hoses.
