swapping to TH400

about what does it cost to get a 400 built that will hold 600-800HP and what all is needed to swap it into the car. I wouold do the install/removal so only labor would be tranny build.

how more to add the lock up option? what else do I need to buy besides a trans and conv to swap? How will boost affect the vac modualtor on the TH400?

I don't think you want a 400 unless you are happy with non lock converter, 3 speeds, and reverse manual valve body (no modulator required....)

in other words....race only (or mostly.....)

I was just informed about the manual VB stuff, I saw the option fro L/U but I bet thats big $$$$

guess Im stuck with the 2004R for now.

At least I have a fresh CK SG2 one, just need a good TC to go with it

I don't think you are "stuck" with the 200....they can be made very reliable

that didnt quite come out right, I just dont want to burn up another one,
But I do have CK to work with and Chris has been great so far.....
no complaints there
