this beast makes 652 hp at 25 psi. it ran a 9.51 at 143 on the drag radials you see in the picture !!!!

ive alwyas thought that the conquest/starion are the most bad ass looking cars made. the turbo 4 cylinder just seemed slightly aneemic for such a beefy looking RWD ride.

should have come like this from the factory!:D

That's bad as hell. I've always loved how those cars look.

Every once in a while I see one of those cars and think they would be way cool to do a swap in. I was always impressed with the size of the stock rear wheels for a car from back in the 80's. Made it look aggressive.

that stock turbo 4 probably has some gutts, i bet with a bigger turbo and some other little goodies you can boost them up to 300 at the wheels and have an awsome ride.

awsome looking body style
looks some what like a porsche 944 turbo, but its a bit more flared and boxy looking.

guy at my school had one that was souped up. they come w/ a pretty big front mount intercooler stock!

i hear they suffer from alot of underhood fires though :(

i still want a black or white one some day

anyone know of a good website for these cars? i have never been able to find a good solid site w/ recent updates

If I remember correctly that's a tube frame car with a Ford 9 inch rear. NOT a simple swap lol

Killer, the motor is pretty solid but the stock head is prone to cracking. You can replace it with a minivan head and be fine.

Other main problems with them is the factory wiring, supposed to be prone to problems.

Man I love how those cars look though. I'll probably own one eventually.

what month is that issue... I went to like 4 stores and found october issue but had some old chevy on the front and nothing about this car...
