For many years I had used EBONY SWIRL MARK REMOVER. A couple of years ago I was told by my paint store that they don't make it any longer. I really don't believe them. I think the price wasn't high enough. It was about $8 a qt. Does anyone know if this product is still available or possibly another product that would be in this price range. I know about the 3M stuff. In fact, I use 3M Imperial hand glaze after the EBONY. I don't think I should have to pay $15 a qt or more for swirl mark remover polish.

Hey John....look for the 3M finess-it II.
Chances are, the ebony is still available, they just renamed it.

Maguires has some good swirl remover, you can't get it at your local parts store, you'll have to find a paint supply shop that carries their industrial line. It works good as well.

Thanks Scott. I was really reaching out to YOU for this information. What took you so long? :p

Hey! I use to use the ebony stuff all the time with excellent results..nothing compares but last batch I got wasnt worth a crap..It always was awesome about taking off the compound that actually makes the swirls & leaving nothing but smooth paint swirl free..others work ok till you wash them then the swirls are back..with ebony they were gone forever until you buffed again anyways..I have a bottle at work if you need a name or addy off of..I think I called info or searche don interent & got a supplier last time but like I said didnt work the same to me..liek a different formula or something..
Good luck...
Brian
