Most auto parts houses sell a master cylinder bench bleed kit that connects up to the mastercylinder ports and has hoses that dip into the reservoir. You can bench bleed the master cylinder with the unit attached to the firewall, so long as the car is level. You need to bench bleed the master cylinder before bleeding the rest of the brake system. Do not fill the large reservoir until the master cylinder is bench bleed. You may also bleed the brake system via gravity bleed once the master cylinder is bench bleed. Once you have a solid pedal (manual brakes), then fill the largest reservoir (the one with two ports on the floor) and key on, engine off. The PM motor will fire, do not let the motor run for more than 20 seconds. If it does, turn the ignition off. As the fluid is drawn by the front port , if it is not submerged in brake fluid, add until it is covered by brake fluid. If the motor runs for more than 20 seconds, turn ignition off and loosen the hose below the accumulator until brake fluid flows, then tighten. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES COMPLETELY REMOVE THE HOSE, ACCUMULATOR OR PRESSURE SWITCH (I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH). THE SYSTEM IS STILL PRESSURIZED TO OVER 700PSI. IT ONLY BECOMES DE-PRESSURIZED WITH 10-15 PEDAL PUSHES WITH THE IGNITION OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then repeat the ignition on procedure again, the pm motor should not run for more than 20 seconds.
