T-link ver 3.0 and compatibility with Sony Vaio

I am getting T-link Ver 3.0 and was wondering if anyone else here uses Sony Vaio laptop (PCG-XG29) with their t-link, and if so, any problems or issues or trouble? any input in this matter would be awesome. TIA

I looked in the customer database and we have two or three that have reported using the Viao with no problems.

One had a note they used a USB/Serial converter, since the laptop didn't have a serial port and it was working fine.
