i was wondering what you guys think about putting a t66 turbo w/ a 3" inlet on my daily driver LC2. what would i need stall-, injector-, etc.- wise? thanks.

It's a good turbo for the street. You would need 3400-3500 stall,
55lb injectors or bigger, big IC.

Good Luck

thanks for the info. a buddy in dallas has a freshly rebuilt t66 with no miles for 600 bucks. good deal or what... you know, for a daily driver?

It depends who rebuilt it. If it was rebuilt by the right people
(Precision or Limit) then yes I would say $600 is a good deal.

Good Luck

For under $700 you can get a brand new GT67 (TE-67) from Red Armstrong. $700 and a few extra dollars get you the turbo and aacuator. 3" inlet, about the same turbo as a 66. New turbo with John Craig warrenty

i believe it might have been rebuilt by precision. the guy that owns it owns a rotary performance shop. it needs the turbine housing only. it has the full 360* race bearings and a 3" inlet for better spooling on a smaller motor. i know i would definitely need a better fuel system. one of my buddies gets the hookup on new turbos anyway if this dosen't seem like it will pan out. thanks for the info.;)

You need nothing except an alky kit. Do not NEED a better IC, injectors, etc, only an alky kit. Easy on the wallet.:D
