ta-49 to 60

i had my ta-49 rebuilt and changed to ta-60 apon recommendation from a friend ,I have already added a 3200 911 converter and alcohol is on the way but so far I havnt seen any advantages from the 60 and also there is lag should I see the benefits of this turbo when I turn up the boost with alky or did I just take the wrong advice?

yes there will be a difference. from a mid 11 to a low 11. i did the same change and saw a difference

There shouldn't be any lag at all with a TA60 and a 3200 stall converter.

Make sure the puck is sealing if using an internal gate downpipe.

You won't see much difference until you get the boost over 24/25 psi.

when they rebuilt your 49, did they change out the turbine as well or did they leave the TA49 turbine in there and add a 60-1 wheel to save the housing?
