anyone running this turbo
can you please tell me some of the details like spool up stuff like that and list your other mods

also can this thing be used with 50lbs injectors? or do I need larger
I am looking for the stock appearing turbo that can be used with 50lb injectors for future use

I have a TA 54 but am using 65 lb injectors. I think injector sizing depends on how fast you want to go. There is alot of info on this over at gnttype.org. It will tell you how fast you can go with your injectors and turbo.

hey crazi our combos are a little bit similar, i have a 9/11 2800-3000 stall, ported heads, pte 53 turbo, 3 inch dpipe, runs a 100 octane chip, tranny is built by bruce....only thing is my injectors...only 36lbs, alky injected to fatten up air fuel ratio, question is if you have any lag in your setup, right now i get off the line AWESOME, if i hammer it at a roll its a little laggy..just out of curiousity if you have anything similar...i have a .63 exhaust housing, i need to open my exhaust up someday but wont be for awhile...just got to tennessee and va SUCKED...ohh and this turbo is not too stock appearing...ohh and i have a 206 cam in my car now also...

I am not real sure about this but I think you will run out of gas pretty quick with just bluetops. You will need injectors if you are planning on turning up the wick. What Pump? What are your 02's?

my o2's are fine on an 100 octane chip right until i hit 20psi....then ping starts popping up and i have to let up...i am shooting the alky from 7 psi on, boost shoots right up once that alky hits, spools decently but i believe it could be a little better but who knows i am probably wrong...i need injectors but i am getting engaged and it is going to be another year before i make up that money sooooooo gotta keep the boost down, also i just put this tranny in about two weeks ago, killer street with a pts 9/11 2800-3000...my only issue is lag and its a tad bit more than i expected, its ok off the line because i do not need that much ripping the tires apart but from a roll it wouldnt matter...ohh well the combo hooks up decently and the blue tops feed the car well until 20 psi like i said...

If your O2's are fine I would leave it just like it is. I actually like the bit of lag I get with my 2800. It keeps me from killing the tires like you said... With the 65lb inj, I am having a a tad bit of difficulty getting the lean spots tuned out but am working with several chip guys.

This spring I am putting the street/strip in mine.

just out of curiousity what kind of boost are you running, i am not able to run anything past 20....pushed once and pinged immediately, cannot risk trying because i cannot afford to have the car go down right now, what kind of boost are you able to run on your setup??? I am looking into 50 lbs msd's come next year but will have to pay off all my current debt
