Ta 62 How Fast???

Just bought a TA 62 turbo w/precision .63 housing. How fast can I go? 50 lb inj, THDP, 340 fuel pump, adj reg, stretch 20 row IC, stock heads, 212/212 cam, rebuild engine w/billet caps, Art Carr 9" non-lockup 3200 conv, ATR exhaust, scanmaster.

My guess is somewhere between 11.70 and 10.70 on race Gas and high boost.

Too many variables to take into account to narrow it further than this.

My combo is very close to yours except i have ported stock heads. Same cam with a front mount. I am currently going 7.1 in the 1/8 and 11.2 @ 120MPH in the quarter with a very low boost launch (soon to change). Others are going faster. Just depends on your 60 fts. Launch with 8-10 lbs boost and 10's are not out of the question.

Buickboy, How much boost are you running to go 120 in the 1/4. I have the
virtually the same setup as you. Check my sig for best time. Thats a 1.78 60' and 21# boost.

I am running 19 lbs boost with 114 in the tank and 10.5 MT ET drags. Shooting for high 10's this year. In Texas though, it may be October before the air is condusive to 10's.
