thanks, for the link. I think i going to back to stock and not deal with more headaches from the ta's. Really don't want to butcher stuff up.

just port your stock ones out if your looking for performance.

As far as I'm aware, the TA headers are the LAST American made, new production aftermarket header available.
Everything else is reverse engineered and made in China.

I just bought another set of Postons off the board. They were the best fitting and moderately priced I have had so far. I was really liking the TA's look and track record, but when I got a link from a member about the install of them I back tracked quick. Relocating trans line out of the way and brake lines, no way not for $700. For $700 they should drop right in.

I have a set of mild steel TA's that I bought last year and they were a direct drop in. The only thing that gave me a problem was the band clamps until I was told the secret on how to get them on. To me, the fit and finish was first rate and I'd buy it again. I'll admit I kinda choked on the price, but if you factor in the cost of material and time, they are well worth it.
