TA v/s TE

Which would spool quicker,the stock appearing TA or the TE turbos? (Like a TA52 and a TE52)

ta housing spool faster since they're smaller. They won't have as much flow though. A precision .63 exhaust housing acts like a .82 or so garret housing. In the 1/4, most times I've seen people swap to precision housings they knock off a tenth or two and gain some MPH, but on the street a lot of people don't like the lag.
