Does anybody make the adaptor for the throttlebody to get a TA49 to mount to the TB and have it sit correctly? And other than reclocking and welding the cone adaptor to the outlet of the 49(after measuring installed height) is there anything else that will present itself as a problem? I've done a search but it doesn't seem to be finding many of the post i remember reading a few weeks ago on this subject. Thanks a lot guys.

you're on top of it!!!

Thought Jamie was making some adapters. Yes you can measure, cut the cone adapter, and weld. Gets rid of one o-ring. Still will work fine. Best of luck

Thanks Lee i sent him a pm about it. Does anybody know if there are any TA49s that came without the carbon seal or would it be in my best interest to replace it so it doesn't burn oil being setup on the hotair? Is it usually enough burning to notice at idle or under boost? or just losing a quart or so after 2000 miles type thing? Thanks for all the help guys, hopefully there will be another quick hot air on the road again

FYI Jamie is a she!!!
I bought one of her adapters and it works just fine with my 87 Turbo.
