tach hook-up on 84

Found out from the shop that my digital readout on the dash is displaying about 200 rpm too high. So I will be looking into a standalone tachometer.Any guidance for hook up. I've seen the postings for the 86-87 hook up,but not here on hot air tach. Thanks

same location as the 87 cars. drivers side front corner use the green plug.

if it's never been accessed before, it's probably more so taped to the harness loom as it passes under the bracket for the coilpak/ignition module.

Can someone take a photo where the green tach plug goes? I think mine is disconnected.
