Does anyone have or could take a picture of the Green Plug behind the alternator that has the white wire that has the tach signal? I've read through the threads on this topic and there is supposed to be a white wire with a green plug that is unused and that white wire has the tach signal. I have no unused plugs though.
Is this the correct plug in? The plug in on the right side has 2 yellow wires going in and 1 white(-ish, discolored and does not wipe clean) wire coming out and has a green plug. The green plug part is actually on the yellow wires so I am not sure.
Any assistance would be appreciated?

Looks like someone plugged the tach and fuel pump prime write in. (?)
If that is true, its no bueno.

" Should I just unplug then and see what happens?... That thought crossed my mind....

This is a common issue I see all the time. People see those two connectors next to each other and assume they should be connected. This usually disables the signal going to the digital tach in the dash making the tach inoperable. Unplug them.

Done and done. No troubles noticed now that it's unplugged. Actually now my factory led tach and boost gauge bar meter is working again. Now I have to go back to ignoring them or just unplug them.
Thanks for letting me know on the tach wire too and correcting a problem!

I read that too about the green & white white. I was recently trying to get my stock tach working again. I didn't see any of those wires. Then, I notice that someone cut back the 2 yellow wires & they weren't connected to anything. So I posted a photo on the board here & someone told me to connect the 2 yellow ones together & the tach will work. And it does work now. It was also mentioned that I could run an aftermarket tach off those wires as well.
