Tachometer

My tachometer on the 87 T type stopped working. It has the first bar lite up but that's all nothing else happens, does anyone have a clue where to look for a problem.

If you live in/near So. Cal., stop by Lou's Automotive & he can fix it. Not sure what he did, but it's a fairly simple electrical connection problem. The booste gauge can do it also, but then again they are both terrible gauges.
If not careing about aesthetics you can ignore the tach & use the boost gauge. G'luck.

If it stays lit up even with the engine running you may have a vacuum line off. Check vacuum/boost lines on the right rear of the engine.

thank you for the tip i will look at the vacume lines to start with
