We will NOT have a 60 foot time available on the slip for multible reasons. First, the finish line is just past that mark. Second, because we are using a stock car track that has other events on it, we are not allowed to spray the surface with a traction compound as it would create a dangerous situation for their Saturday night events. Because of this, comparing your 60 foot times from other facilities would be futile. Since our format is totally different from traditional drags, we are toying with having a 6 foot time printed on the slip. This would be more relevant and unique to our distance and format.

I wonder what would happen if someone got out of control and wrecked into other cars at this "cruise" ..

That's about an hour from me but I would rather watch grass grow then race for 60 ft. I wouldn't even drive my car thru their bombed out parking lot, could just imagine driving thru all the rocks and dirt to get into the pits with drag radials. This is the best it gets in CT for drag racing.

I wouldn't mind racing the 1/8th though. It seems like all the bad things happen on the big end of the track.

funny

i think some people could run faster then some of the cars that would run that small area. not trying to knock it because it's about meet and greet and most cruise nights i've been to. but still why bother for that short amount of track?
