What is the target AFR for our cars? I have a friend with a mid 8sec Mustang with a FAST system he set it to correct for 13.5:1
I am in the market for a wb02, but I don't know what AFR to tune for. I guess it kinda works like an EGT, every car is different. 1500* might be good for my car, but 1600* works well on another car. So what should I shoot for? Thanks!

There is no target, you have to experiment to find out what your particular combo likes.
Between, 12.8 and probably 11.3.

Running richer then Stoich is about using fuel for in cylinder cooling. There's numberous papers about the subject. Goggling for NACA will lead you to a library of info., all of which is great for really understanding what's going on.

Bruce, Thanks for the reply.
If there is no "Magic" number to shoot for when using a WB02, then why even bother using one. To me it's the same as an EGT. There's no particular temperature to tune for, only a max number you don't go over.

I would think the way to go would be a FAST system because it corrects the A/F ratio the whole time.
