TB sealing

Thought it might be tough to get a good solid dependable seal between the throttle body and turbo. I was a bit uncomfortable with such a small sealing area on the turbo.

Not rocket science and most likely done before. Just never seen any pics or writings (matter of fact never heard of any sealing problems in this area) but I like a clean assembly .............so ........... decided to machine it and seal it differently than just a gasket. Should have a clean seal (no possible gasket material protrusions) and good alignment.

Bad before and after comparison pic but it gives an idea.

iam going to see if i can do this with my intake manifold like the nhra drag cars do. i like this type of sealing instead of having crappy looking gaskets... and they will be reuseable

looks good jerryl, sorta reminds me of how they did it on the 3800's. should be a good seal.
