My tcc doesnt seem to want to lock up when its cold out. Anyone else having a similar problem? I drove 20 minutes the other day in freezing temperatures and it didnt lock up at all. Today, it was above freezing and it started locking up after about 15 minutes of driving. I do have a tranny cooler if this makes a difference...

All depends on engine temp also.Computer wont lock tcc below i think 156 or so to warm up engine faster. also depends how chip is burnt.

It's not really a good idea to run a 160* stat in regions where you have long cold spells. You should run a 180* in winter and the 160* when the weather warms up. As mentioned above, the cpu will only enable lockup when your engine temp goes above a certain value. This is to warm the oil in the trans.
