Anyone that really knows a lot about these 2004Rs done ant testing with the TCI constant pressure valve bodies. As a true idiot about the internal workings of 2004Rs, it sounds like a good insurance policy against burning a trans down from poor TV adjustment, to me.
They are suppose to be adjustable for shift firmness, so I would assume it would be easy to dial up a moderate firmness to help keep the trans together.
Just curious if it would be worth looking into for my up build list on my trans. Please chime in, gurus of 2004Rness! LOL.

Plenty of kits to get the tv set up unless you are using some kind of off the wall induction. I have no experience but my reasoning would include constant high pressure is hard on the pump and its components. Creating a constant high pressure environment is a recipe for early pump dismissal. Your results may vary.

I would guess that the only time you would enjoy this valve body is at full throttle. I don't think you would like the light throttle shifts or the harshness of engaging the forward clutch.

Ttype6 is correct....trying to drive it mildly in slow traffic would drive you crazy every time
it shifted. At light throttle, every shift would be as hard as if you were at the strip and bang
shifting it! Not good!
