Is a Te-45a turbo a big shaft turbo or is it the small shaft?
It looks like a small shaft to me

Yes it is a big shaft turbo.

its a big shaft-- look at the compressor nut, its the 6 point 10mm nut which denotes that it is a large shaft turbo
