TAKE IT OFF :mad:and put a garret exhaust housing on it will be a night and day deference.

I did the same thing.I took off the .63 Precision Housing thinking that the Garret .63 would make a huge difference. This was on my current 44 Turbo.I have to tell you I didn't notice a big difference between the 2 Housing's driving around town. Now from a dead stop and powerbraking it around 40-45 MPH I lost traction and the car veered wildly to the left with the Garett Housing. That was not fun. When I had that .63 Precision Housing on the car it hooked and had the traction from a dead stop, powerbraking it again the car hooked and stayed straight.I didn't even do a mini burnout.I think The Boost level I launched was around 5lbs but im not sure. One thing about my combination is that i do have the Race Heads and Intake Manifold.Although my cam remains stock.I have an extra Garett .63 Housing sitting in a box in my dining room. Its in the same condition of all the Garett .63's that I have come across. If anyone makes me an offer I would part with it.

I believe it has the precision cover...It doesn’t seem to spool that bad right now but its not like I would want it to be, it sure does seem to pull harder and more than the stock one did. I’m just trying to figure out what’s wrong with my car first then ill be looking for a converter soon.

Make Godzilla an offer on his extra .63 Garrett housing if you don't want to change out the converter. My bet is you'll be a happy camper... ;)

So because of the faster spool up of the Garret housing you had traction issues that caused the car to go side ways, i guess the garret housing work'd ??????

All BS aside I put a TE60 with the Precision housing on my car and it was a dud to about 20-30 MPH and/or 3000 plus rpm. But after I swapped out the Precision housing for the Garret housing it made a HUGE deference in my car I still can’t fry the tires of the line but after a 5-10 foot roll up comes the smoke.

i second this suggestion and would also bet on it.
that is IF you want to have traction issues do to the faster spool up???

Good luck anyway you go.
