just wondering if I could mount a te60 turbo on the stock location, and what size injectors would I need, like 60lbs, or something a little smaller, or what would work, and installing an intercooler, ported 86 gn heads, modded intake and upper plenum, to mount on the stock location, 3" piping all the way around, electric fan installed, tt chip,

You'd need to convert it to a carbon seal or oil will be sucked into the engine under vacuum. Then you'd need to adapt the inlet and compressor outlet.

can u explain to me about the carbon seal? where is it located, and whats its function, thanks

Would you still need to convert the seal to carbon if you are in Hot Air configuration-turbo in stock location (moving Throttle Body off the turbo)? I have a TE61 that I am using on my current setup sitting on my engine stand.

Its a positive oil seal located in the seal plate and seals against the thrust collar in the chra. It's spring loaded so that it is constantly sealed against the collar and prevents oil from being sucked into the compressor cover.

The only way you would need to use a carbon seal is if you are pulling through the throttle body. If you are blowing through it like the 86-89 lc2 then a carbon seal isn't required because the compressor side isn't exposed to vacuum under non boost driving
