I can't find specs on the 60 no problem. Can't find a 6157 anywhere. Is there a major difference between these two?Reason I ask is....

I have a 6157 on my white T and I went from a PTC 10 2800 to a 9x11 3200(used not billet) and car is a dog ;). I've driven the TE60 3200 combo (same) parts on customers car and it was good. The only major difference on the T is it has stock DP instead of the THDP style. I added a manuel boost controller it did not help much.

I am thinking I need to get the PTc stalled to 2400 and reinstalled...took it out cause it was too loose around town.

You must mean 6152. The te60 is a stage 3 t31 turbine and a 60-1 compressor. The 6152 is a gt35r compressor with a stage 5 t350 turbine. The 6152 needs 600-800rpm more stall at zero to feel the same because the turbine is designed to accommodate much higher mass flow. The te60 is backpressure limited on most engines with average tunes to low 11's. The 6152 will run well into the tens and is a solid 10 sec turbo. Probably could run 10.50 under ideal conditions. Also if the 6152 has a precision .63 ex housing on it it will spool slower. I typically use the Garrett .63 till the car is capable of trapping 122-123mph. A 10" converter will need to stall to about 3000 to spool a 6152. Maybe 2800 with the Garrett .63.

Nope I mean 6157 it was bought by Turbopete in 2008 from Full Throttle with the convertor. He did not like it so we horse traded. Then it started to smoke and you sold me a center section and seal maybe 2010ish. I ran it for maybe 100o miles over 3 years :) and decided to try a different convertor that a customer wanted to sell.

I run a TE60 with 2800 9x11 on my GN and it spools insane at 24 psi. And of course it smokes because it needs the same repair I did on the other turbo. Both ultra low mile turbos.

Was hoping for the same with a 9x11 3200 on the T, but I guess not.

It does have precision housing.

It's a mismatch of wheels. The gt35r will outflow the 57f1 by a lot. The 57f1 needs a Garrett .63 to better match the mass flow potential of the turbine.

It's possible it's got a stage 3 ex wheel also since it's 57mm exducer. Post a pic if it

It is on the car let me see if I can get the elbow off over the weekend. Got a .63 garrett to sell?

I do. Need to make sure you get the right one. Post a pic of the turbine or email me

Lmk asap if you want one. Ive got 4 housings that are about to be recontoured. Another member wants one and i need one for a turbo I have listed. 2 were supposed to be machined for different larger wheels. I can change it up if needed.

If you can give me till Sat afterwork to send a pic I am in. Do you want the old housing or is it junk?

If it has a .950" or smaller bypass I can give you some credit for it since I can just re-contour to a larger wheel. Saturday shouldn't be a problem. I just want to be sure it is what you think it is. I don't want to see you get stuck with a housing you can't use. These aren't like the common Garrett wheels. I could go 6 months without even getting asked about one. Right now I've got a 57f1 to use for re-contouring but the turbo it belongs to is sold so I need to re-contour as needed asap.
