Sounds like an interesting concept.

I want to hear from you if you're using this. Does it work for you as advertised? Are you happy with it? Any problems?

Thanks.

I'm using it on my almost stock GN, stock turbo, stock uncut wastegate actuator etc. Spoolup is faster, like every boost controller, you guess the first setting to get the desired boost and run down the 1/4 mile. Once it is set, you typically don't have to mess with it unless you throw in race gas and increase the chip timing and fueling (TT chips) so you can run more boost.

I like the way it holds boost rock steady where you set it. Its only a minor help with the boost lag with my TE44 and stock D5

Theres about 1.9 gazillion threads on this. Do a search and you will find a ton of info on this little gizmo.

I use it...

Oh now I have to buy a new D/P:confused:I guess I should buy a ram air set up and a hood scoop:wink:

I did. Didn't see any (at least none with it mentioned in the subject). So I started my own.

Thanks.

I have one and took it off just to see if I could tell a difference.
I put it right back on!

Go to search. Type in "controller" and change it to "search thread titles" and hit enter. I scrolled thru the first of about 50 pages and found 12 titles about the RJC.

Search the interwebz for "grainger valve".

This boost controller design is old as hell and you can make your own for about $15.

That said they work great.

Yeah, I did notice that the controller consisted of about $15 of pipe fitting hardware.

Oh well, a nice little profit for RJC - I got no problem with that.

Anyway, I installed it. Took it out for a drive, and DAMN! Boost shot up to 21 psi almost instantly. Of course, I got a lot of knock retard too.

Anyone know where I can get a pack of those wastegate rod c-clips?

You'd better put some good gas in the tank while you get that boost lowered down.
