I have been going over my PowerLogger files and noticed that my boost changes with temperature. In one file I was running 18# and the other file I was running 16# with no mechanical changes in boost, the only difference was the intake temps. The 18# run had an intake temp of 55.8 degrees and the 16# run had an intake temp of 67.7 degrees at WOT. Is this normal,if so is there a way to consistently run a certain boost. I also noticed that the higher the intake temp the richer it was. Thanks, ikle

PowerLogger Files

Here are the files, I made no changes between 5 and 7.Files 8,9 and 11 I increased boost by a 1/2 turn on each run.Whats going on :confused:Thanks for looking, ikle.

Its pretty normal to see a spike in boost on colder nights etc due to the denser intake charge increasing the efficiency of your intercooler and compressor of the turbo....lower the intake temp the better but it will increase boost slightly and lean out more than when it is hot out or heatsoaked....also is why when its warm you noticed the rich condition....
