Yeah, this sucks....that guy really brought that Gibson ES335 to the front of rock and roll at Woodstock.....that guy could really get that "special tone/sound" out of that thin hollow body.........a very distinctive sound....really grabbed my attention!.......gave me confidence that I could go searching for that sound on my Gibson ES355STSV.....and I found it, thanks to him......he was only 68 for crap's sake! I really loved that guy! If you didn't start moving to that "I'm Going Home" you must have been dead.......that man could really rock that thing! Truly will be missed, especially by me........a true musician......and it really brings home the point that I'm getting old, too. Sucks. RIP, Alvin, my man.......You did a damn great job!
