Hey guys, I have got a terrible squeak in my front window. It only occurs when I hit bumps etc. I was thinking the body mount since mine are in bad shape. Has any one else had this problem, and if so how did you get rid of it. Thanks Alot
Matt

My guess would be the bump stops under the hood are dry.
Try lubricating with some silicone or other lube. :D

squeak

I will try that but it seems to becoming directly from the window

driver's window? or windshield?

driver's window should have a felt piece on the inside next to the window. Could be bad body mounts, these cars are getting old and squeaky.

I have had the same problem with my 84 and its really F*cking annoying let me know if you get it fixed

I had the same thing, when going over bumps. It was the bump stops under the hood-what the hood closes on. Lube them up or adjust them. I would have sworn it was the windshield too but couldn't figure out how so looked elsewhere.

cool

I will check this out and hit you back to see if it works Matt

My window rattled alot so bought a set of Kirbans rattleless kits for them and let me tell you that they work great. They were a little hard for me to install but what in't.;)

mine does too
i freaking hate it

it gets on my nerves BAD

and its not the hood :)
