Guys,

Does anyone have a test pipe that would fit a stock hot air down pipe or a larger DP and test pipe conbo? I am interested in purchasing one.

Thanks,

Spank

Hollow out your OEM Convertor

Use a hole saw just big enough to enter the convertor (measure yours) about 1-3/4" or so. Also buy an drill extention that is about 1' long to be able to reach down inside. Total cost is about $20 you just need a drill & a shop vac. Wear a mask to avoid breathing the dust and use the vac! You will be supprised how easy it is. While the ceramic sustrate appears tough it is like butter to the hole saw.

If you have an air injection tube inside use a looooong screw driver to shear it off on both sides (on the inside) then you can cut off the tube on the outside or just weld / plug up the end.

I did mine since it was fouled anyway and another since it was over 150k on it. IT SOLVED A KNOCK PROBLEM by getting rid of the restriction of an old convertor and I can use 87 instead of 92 octane. Most times we don't think about this being bad and the restriction it creates! Do it it works!
