I did a ton of searching and came up dry.

What do you guys use for gasket's when replacing your catalytic converter with a test pipe. I want to have every thing ready when I get under my car and not have any surprises.

I did not use a gasket there either or on the DP for that matter and no exhaust leaks that i felt or heard just bolt it right up you'll be fine

Have swapped the cat for the cut-out pipe 2 or 3 times now, and have never had an issue without using a gasket, nor has it caused an issue with the smog test.

I've never used one either, you could try a line of high temp copper RTV but even that might not hold up to the temperatures down there.

So the Cat doesn't have any gasket's or o rings of any sort? I've never removed one.

So basically it's a simple task of removing your cat and replacing it with your test pipe?
