With ten inches of snow still falling we were closed today so I figured I would post another contest to test the readers of this thread.

Again no prizes involved simply the satisfaction you knew the answer before any one else did!

Here goes:

Referring to the 1986-1987 Turbo Regals original ones. What does these letters pertain to? W & B?

This should be a little easier than the deer with the antlers one.

good luck participants...

gotta go shovel some more snow.....

I knew the antlers one. This one, I'm not sure.. Phil.

Kirban update:

No correct answers as of yet as the snow continues to belt my part of the country. At this point not sure if we will open Wednesday and if so may be mid afternoon.

IIRC I read something on the inner circle about Weatherhead and Brass on the Brake proportioning valve.....

Cant remember though......

Oh if anyone has every issue of the old Grand News I would buy them from you.... 20 years ago when my wife and I were newlyweds she used to hate it when I got so excited my Grand News showed up LOL

Wheel base, wide band? Just guessing.. Phil.

The factory MAF has BW on it.

BINGO WINNER.....

Although I like the answer above wallet-broke...

will try and post another one over the weekend tough to think them up and make them so you can't research it on the internet. Speaking of the 1986-1987 MAF SENSORS you go on ebay any time and almost every one that is listed for the 1986-1987 Turbo Regal is a incorrect one By incorrect I mean it is a modified Camaro one that not only necks down but the plug connector is horizontal not vertical (downward) and the two mounting points are riveted to the plastic housing.

To my knowledge (and I could be wrong) the ones on the 1986-1987 original AC Delco units with the little sticker saws BW on the bottom as we now know is very unique to our cars. I am not implying the other modified ones won't work but are wrong in appearance and could have issues not being calibrated correctly.

We offer rebuilt 100% original ones and always have.

Heard from good customer in Canada -40 wind factor not in the equation....

One can only imagine how thick oil gets when temps drop in the minus column.....

next contest will be tougher...
