anyone have any info on these trans. their 40lb. lighter, but no od. super stock/stock drag racers use these, but i can't find much information. thanks, dave

dave many mods for the 2004r will work on this transmission and it is highly underrated .these things can really perform in the right application.we make a full manual valve body,e4340 forward drum ,as well as offer rollerized internals for it.we have used them at the 550 hpower level with reliability .i see you are in ny so give us a call if you need more information.

Thanks, Chris, I was hoping for more responses. I going to bracket race. I have my original 200-4r . It seeems the 200-c would be a nice alternative. I expect to run in the 11.50 to 12.50 range; Or 1/8 mile equal. I'm in NY only 400 miles away( Buffalo ). Do you ship? Thanks, Dave

yes we do and the same e4340 forward drum we make for the 2004r is now being made with the 200c shaft on it .as soon as i get caught up we are going full steam on the 200 and our 4l80e projects.we are hoping thing will slow down a little ,or to have someone really good come work with us so we can enjoy some free time making new stuff.

TH200C, is that the one that orginally came in the N/A V6 buicks? The one that reverse went out of long before the rest of the trans was bad?

Oh yea buddy been waiting for this I have one in my car that will be getting built.Less weight-less drag-more power to the wheels :D

CK, with your billet forward drum would you say that the 200c will handle more than the 600hp DRW rated it to withstand?

36lbs lighter and being more efficient are pretty nice, but how readily available are these and will they go high 9's like the 2004R will?

i dont think his unit is handling 600 in lockup trim with a stock drum and shaft.itll take whatever a 2004r will with the billet drum and shaft.
